Nearly 300 children in one of the toughest parts of Las Vegas will get brand new back to school supplies thanks to one of our hotel and casinos.
Casa De Luz is a church located in the Gateway District, also known as Naked City. Many of the neighborhood children cannot afford back to school supplies.
The Westgate Hotel & Casino heard about the need and gathered enough supplies for 300 kids. The kids will get their brand-new backpacks stuffed with supplies this Saturday at a celebration at the Bob Stupak Center.
Good Morning Las Vegas anchor Beth Fisher visited Casa De Luz on July 19 to find out more about the church and what it is doing for the neighborhood. Watch below.
