Preschool, elementary and middle school students at Southern Highlands Preparatory School in Las Vegas collected more than 1,000 non-perishable food items during a school-wide food drive that benefited the Veterans Village Food Pantry.
To collect the food items, each student was given a bag to take home and fill with donations. The school’s National Junior Honor Society members rallied students to participate in the food drive.
The school worked with in conjunction with the Just One Project, a local organization that facilitated the food drive.
