Palace Station hotel-casino team members and executives handed out 100 gifts and many more candy canes to children at its Smart Start partner school, Rex Bell Elementary.
The gifts were donated by the team members of Palace Station specifically for the children who received them. The gifts were delivered on Dec. 15.
Smart Start is a 15-year old community partnership among Station Casinos, Clark County School District and the Public Education Foundation. Station Casinos properties partner with 10 high-need elementary schools deemed by CCSD needing the greatest assistance where all team members band together to provide back-to-school supply drives, serve as homework helpers and host teacher appreciation events.
