THE ART YOU NEED TO SEE

French graffiti artist Fafi is known for her female characters.

"Obey Giant" Shepard Fairey became famous after creating the iconic image of Barack Obama emblazoned with the word "HOPE" during the 2008 presidential campaign. His mural is at Sixth and Fremont streets.

Felipe Pantone, who is known for fusing typography with graffiti and using vivid colors, has created his first-ever 3-D mural for the festival.

Crystal Wagner's piece for the festival spans the facade of the abandoned Las Vegas Motel and is composed of chicken wire and nylon fabric.

The Big Rig Jig by artist Mike Ross is made up of 2 tractor trailers and stands 42 feet tall.

18 oil canvases by 9-year-old prodigy Elisabeth Anisimow. She is the only child artist featured at the festival.

The Western Hotel will be the site of the "Crime on Canvas" exhibit featuring more than 80 pop surrealist artists, including Brandon Boyd (lead singer for Incubus) and Frances Bean Cobain (daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love).

More than 60 performers from Cirque du Soleil's 7 shows in Las Vegas will perform 30-minute segments filled with dances, acrobatics and more each day.

Urban Seed and Flora Pop's pop-up wedding venue will host its first Life is Beautiful wedding on Sunday. It will happen on corner of Ogden and 6th Street at 5 p.m.

THE FOOD YOU NEED TO EAT

Aloha Kitchen is bringing back its Shanghai-style lumpia for the 3rd year.

EATT will be serving a salmon club sandwich.

Freedom Beat, the new restaurant in the Downtown Grand, will feature its IPA burger.

KINDLAND, a fast-growing media upstart, is a sponsor of the festival and has transformed one of LIB's venues into KINDLAND House.

BUQU is the official charging partner for LIB 2016. They will have 4 charging stations. There charging accessories double as fashion statements and can be clipped to about anything.

The star-powered #IAmAnImmigrant campaign is kicking off first national tour by stopping at LIB 2016. #IAmAnImmigrant will host a pop-up photo shoot at the IDEAS Venue.

Downtown Grand is hosting after parties and surprise pop-up performances throughout the weekend
The Gold Spike will be hosting after parties on Sept. 23 and 24
DJ Mustard and special guest J. Cole will perform at LIGHT Nightclub at Mandalay Bay on Sept. 24

WHERE TO CATCH A RIDE

Uber is the official ride-share partner for the 3-day festival. There is a dedicated pickup and drop-off lot on the corner of Carson Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard. Riders can wait in the special Uber Rider Lounge.
