The following locations will be hosting Oscar viewing parties on Feb. 24. The Oscars will be televised on KTNV-TV Channel 13.
The 10th Annual Variety Salutes Hollywood Oscar viewing party is happening Feb. 24 at Brenden Theatres at The Palms hotel-casino.
The annual event benefits Variety, The Children's Charity of Southern Nevada and will be hosted by KLUC's Chet Buchanan of "The Chet Buchanan Show," Master Magician Lance Burton, and Channel 13's Morning Blend co-host JJ Snyder.
Tickets are $35 and include $24 in theater concessions. Attendees are invited to dress to impress or comfy casual. Local celebrities will be in attendance.
The Vegas Valley Winery in Henderson is hosting a view party for the Oscars on Feb. 24. Attendees are invited to walk a red carpet into the winery's tasting room and enjoy free popcorn, Oscar trivia, games, prizes and fun. Guests may wear cocktail or casual attire. No charge.
Hamburger Mary's is hosting an Academy Awards viewing party starting at 4 p.m. Feb. 24. There will be food and drink specials. No cover charge.
Charlie's Las Vegas is hosting an Oscar viewing party featuring Mel Cole and hosted by Sunshine. Enjoy 3-4-1 well drinks, $4 and $5 pitchers, $3 Long Islands, $9 mugmosas and more. The party starts at 5 p.m.
The Phoenix Bar & Lounge is hosting a viewing party starting at 7 p.m. Enjoy Happy Hour prices from 4 to 7 p.m. and food and drink specials all night long. The show will be shown on all of the bar's TV screens and on their 2 giant projector screens.
The Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay is hosting a viewing party for its members and their guests. The party starts at 5 p.m. Formal attire is encouraged. First round of champagne is on the house and there will be small bites during the show.
One5 Lakeside at Lake Las Vegas is offering an Oscar-inspired dinner and open bar during their viewing party. Tickets are $59 plus. VIP booth seating also available.
