Vegas performer Frankie Moreno's new show

Las Vegas performer Frankie Moreno has announced that he will soon be performing on the Las Vegas Strip inside the Planet Hollywood Showroom.

The show is titled "Under the Influence" and will be at 9 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays. Tickets are $33 through $88 and are now on sale through Ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the box office.

Moreno got his start in Las Vegas performing at the Rush Lounge at the Golden Nugget in downtown Las Vegas.

From there, he moved to a headlining gig at the Stratosphere and performed there several years.

Since then, he has been performing on the stage of the Cabaret Jazz Theater at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts and at various venues across the country, including the Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall. He has also performed in other countries such as Australia.

His shows at The Smith Center were also titled "Under the Influence" and featured the music of Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, The Beatles and classical composers such as Mozart.

Moreno's band is comprised of his brother Tony on bass, Fabricio Bezerra on saxophone, Chris Massa on trumpet, Alec Zeiloin on guitar and Belote on drums. The show, which opens April 20, will also feature backup singers.
