The second show in the popular Concerts on the Beach series at Mandalay Bay is happening this weekend. Katchafire will perform with Mystic Roots,
Every summer, music lovers are invited to bring their blankets and sit on the beach or wade in the surf as they listen to the recording industry's biggest touring acts.
Katchafire is one of the most authentic reggae shows around today. Their show is built on the foundations of classic roots reggae with an R&B and funk rub. The band has released four highly successful albums. They will be joined by Mystic Roots Band, a five-piece pop reggae fusion band that juggles elements of dance hall, hip-hop, EDM, pop and a taste of rock.
The next concert is happening on May 28. That show, billed as I Love the '90s, will feature several groups including Tone Loc, Kid 'n Play, Young MC and Kool Moe Dee and the GRAMMY Award-winning Salt-N-Pepa.
