Feb. 9 is National Pizza Day and we are here to help you celebrate. Not only do we have information on specials around town, we also have a list of facts, some delicious recipes, a fun quiz about pizza and your love life, and some pizza food porn to make your mouth water.
OTTO Enoteca e Pizzeria at The Venetian is celebrating National Pizza Day and Mardi Gras with a very special pizza. They will be adding festive Mardi Gras touches to their festive Tasso Ham Pizza ($21) that will only be available on Feb. 9. The pizza will feature house-cured and smoked Tasso ham, which is actually a cured and smoked pork shoulder (not ham) rubbed with a Cajun-style spice mixture containing cayenne, garlic and other spices. Pickled peppers and Buffalo mozzarella complete the pizza.

Pizza Forte at Sunset Station will also be celebrating National Pizza Day. Anyone who says "Happy Pizza Day" at time of purchase will receive a free slice of cheese pizza. Guests are also encouraged to use the #NationalPizzaDay and #PizzaForteLV to share their free pizza photos. Pizza Forte offers New York-style pizza and square, Roman-style pan pizza by the slice with toppings including homemade sausage and fresh vegetables, as well as gluten-free options.

Pizza Rock at Green Valley Ranch and Little Tony's at Palace Station are offering guest 10 percent off any pizza if you dine in and mention National Pizza Day to the server.

Flour & Barley at The LINQ Promenade is celebrating National Pizza Day by offering The Mat Franco Pizza, named after a local magician. The pizza features grilled zucchini, roasted peppers, tomatoes, onions and mushrooms. Vegan cheese is $1.50 extra. Guests will also receive a special offer to save $25 on tickets to see Franco perform.
