It was a night of song and story at The Palazzo Las Vegas, Wednesday, July 20, when VIP guests came together to welcome the property's newest resident production, "Clint Holmes: Between The Lines."

The audience, made up of several celebrities and notables, enjoyed contemporary and traditional standards, original music, and anecdotes from the singer's legendary career in the intimate and newly redesigned Palazzo Theatre.

Among the guests in attendance were: Lance Burton, George Wallace, Mark Shunock, Chadwick Johnson, Mac King, Reva Rice, Brian Henson, Earl Turner, John Payne, Skye Dee Miles, Tony Sacca, Frank Scinta, Chris Phillips ("Zowie Bowie"), Raja Rahman and Jarrett Parker ("America's Got Talent"), Anna Martinez and Lora Kelsey ("Alice a Steampunk Concert"), James Davis ("Chippendales") and cast members of "FANTASY."

The audience experienced songs including "Imagine" by John Lennon, "Can't Stop the Feeling" by Justin Timberlake, "Lean on Me" by Bill Withers," and "Just the Way You Are" by Bruno Mars, mashed up with Billy Joel. Holmes also told audiences a wide range of stories from his parents' musical backgrounds to ways his own children inspire him.

The show features Pianist and Musical Director Christian Tamburr, Saxophonist Rocco Barbato, Vocalist and Dancer Noybel Gorgoy, Drummer and Percussionist Jakubu Griffin, Bassist David Ostrem, and Keyboardist and Vocalist Jamie Hosmer.

Growing up with an African-American jazz musician father and a British mother, who was a classically trained opera singer, Holmes has spent decades performing across the globe. He also served as Joan Rivers' sidekick and announcer on "The Late Show," as the musical feature and event correspondent for "Entertainment Tonight," and as the host of his own Emmy award-winning talk/variety show.

"Clint Holmes: Between The Lines" performs Tuesday through Saturday at 10 p.m. in the Palazzo Theatre. Tickets start at $42.65 (with tax and fees included). Locals receive a 30 percent discount or four tickets for $99 (must purchase four) with a valid Nevada ID.
