The annual Sunny 106.5 Ice Cream Sunday is taking place 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 18 at Huckleberry Park in the Providence master-planned community.
Free frozen treats will be provided by Meadow Gold and there will be ice cream-eating contests, a petting zoo, a DJ, entertainment by Amazing Clowns and more.
Other food will also be available for purchase from food trucks.
Attendees are invited to bring new or gently used books for Spread the Word Nevada. The nonprofit organization promotes literacy to make it possible for all children in Nevada to experience the magic of books.
The Sunny 106.5 Ice Cream Sunday is being presented by Sunny 106.5, Meadow Gold, Providence Master Planned Community and Providence Master Homeowners Association.
The park is located at 10325 Farm Road, which is near Farm Road and Egan Crest Way.
