After a brief hiatus, I am so excited to be back to bring you my weekly treasure trove of free and frugal events taking place in and around Las Vegas. This weekend I have uncovered a teen fashion show, concert, a princess meet and greet, plus story times and game play.
Azure Formal Wear Prom Fashion Show

Downtown Summerlin Farmers Market
Saturdays 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
This weekly market has become a must do for our family. From the delicious bread and pastries, fresh produce, local honey and the best hummus ever, there is something for the entire f a.m.ily to taste and enjoy.
Princess Meet & Greet at Cupkates
Saturday, January 23rd 10:30 a.m. to noon
The Tivoli Village location of Cupkates by Kate is having a Princess Meet and Greet with Rapunzel.
Barnes & Noble Events
Saturday, January 23rd
The bookseller is featuring a variety of events this weekend for kids of all ages including story times, strategy g game play and a Lego Skyline and Architecture studio for teens. Events vary by location.
Franco Valeriani Concert
Saturday, January 23rd 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Spend the afternoon with saxophonist Franco Valeriani where he'll perform some of his original music, as well as covers of the more popular music in Italy today. With my daughter heading off to a semester abroad, we cannot wait for a preview of the music waiting for her in Italia. This event is free and open to the public.
