'Double Dare Live!' comes to Las Vegas on Sunday

Nickelodeon's Double Dare Takes The Gridiron At Super Bowl LIII

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — "Double Dare Live!" is coming to Las Vegas this weekend, bringing the show's legendary obstacle course to the valley!

The stage version of Nickelodeon's popular TV show starts at 6:30 p.m. at The Smith Center on Oct. 20.

Tickets range from $30-$75 and can be purchased online here.

Legendary host Marc Summers is saying goodbye to "Double Dare" after more than three decades at the helm of the show's slime-soaked shenanigans. Sunday's "Double Dare Live!" stop at The Smith Center is just one stop on a national farewell tour.

“‘Double Dare’ has been a once in a lifetime experience. For over 30 years, I have had an amazing time entertaining a couple of generations," says Summers.

"It’s always been important to me to know when to say farewell, and I believe now is that time. But this is not retirement! I have a new show launching on Discovery, a live one many show, a documentary on my life, and a few other tricks up my sleeve!”

“Double Dare premiered on Oct. 6, 1986, on Nickelodeon, and ran from 1986-1993, making it the network’s longest running game show.

Marc Summers served as the show’s original host from 1986-1993.
