UPDATE: Hooray! The Howard Hughes Corporation has announced they will be opening Las Vegas' first Dave & Buster's location. The 33,000-square-foot Dave & Buster’s will be located on Park Centre Drive, across from Regal Cinema 5 at Downtown Summerlin. The popular spot is scheduled to open this summer.

If you ask the residents of Las Vegas about restaurants or bars they wish would come to the valley, one of the most popular answers is Dave & Buster's.

There is even a Facebook page titled "Bring Dave and Busters to Las Vegas."

Well, it looks like it may finally be happening even though there has been no formal announcement and Las Vegas is not listed under "Coming Soon" on their website.

The company, which has more than 70 locations in multiple states, does have numerous listings for jobs in Las Vegas on its website. They are hiring for banquet chefs, bar backs, bartenders, hostesses, line cooks, game technicians, cocktail servers, and more.

Although a specific street address is not given, "Sahara & I-215" is listed as the location. That means it could be in Downtown Summerlin or very close to it.

If you are not familiar with Dave & Busters and you have been around here for a while, think of it as GameWorks for adults. The restaurant and bar offers hundreds of games, prizes, a restaurant that serves above-average bar food and fancier options, and a sports bar.

Commercials for Dave & Busters have been running for years on local television stations even though there has never been a location in the valley.

Action News has reached out to Dave & Buster's for confirmation that they are definitely coming to Las Vegas. Until then, keep your fingers crossed.
