LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Slater's 50/50 Las Vegas announced two limited time burgers available Aug. 3 through Sept. 3 with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation, which provides support to victims of fires and catastrophic events throughout Las Vegas.

"This is a remarkable group of men and women who are dedicated to serving and protecting our community," said Cindy Sun, co-owner and general manager of Slater's 50/50 Las Vegas. "Through this campaign, we're proud to put them first and give them the support they need to help this foundation thrive."

"The Crew" is a one-third pound 50/50 beef and bacon patty on a brioche bun with applewood smoked bacon, bacon ketchup, cheddar cheese, grilled onions, tomato, fried egg and baby arugula. For guests looking to turn up the heat.

"The Flashover" features two of the signature 50/50 beef and bacon patties on a brioche bun with ghost pepper spice, ghost chili pepper Jack cheese, grilled onions, roasted red peppers, ketchup, tomato and lettuce.

Both burgers will be available for $17.99. Fifteen percent of each burger sold will go back to the Foundation.

The Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation raises funds for further education on fire safety, to send children to seasonal burn camps and school reintegration programs, and to provide counseling and other resources to burn victims and their families, including other firefighters. Additionally, these firefighters also collect toys for thousands of disadvantaged children in need during the holidays.
