Las Vegas' hottest party of the year, Aid for AIDS of Nevada's (AFAN) 32nd annual Black & White Party will take place at Daylight Beach Club inside Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino on Sept. 8 from 8:30-11:30 p.m.
The highly anticipated event will feature barely-there fashions, performances from top entertainers and exciting silent auction items.
Last year, nearly 2,500 guests raised more than $130,000 to benefit AFAN's client service programs to help men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS in Southern Nevada.
Returning host Norma Llyaman, "Empress of the 80s," will be joined by Strip headliner Miss Behave, from "The Miss Behave Game Show."
This year's theme, "Escape to Paradise," will take guests back in time to an 80s' inspired pool party with festive decor. Photo opportunities and performers from MGM Event Productions, LV Photo, Balloons with a Twist, Champagne Creative and Las Vegas Pride will enhance the experience throughout the evening.
Attendees will be treated to culinary samples provided by BRIO Tuscan Grille, Libertine Social, House of Blues, Hussong's Mexican Cantina, Slice of Vegas, Four Seasons Hotel and Hamburger Mary's. Guests can dance the night away with music from DJ Axis, and enjoy performances by the Tenors of Rock, Blue Man Group, MURRAY The Magician, David Goldrake Imaginarium, The Queens of Piranha Nightclub, East Side Riot and more. The casts of Penn & Teller, Chippendales and Sexxy the show will also make special appearances.
Ticket packages include:
- $80 "General Admission" includes general admission access from 8:30-11:30 p.m.
- $125 "VIP" includes early entry to the party, two complimentary drinks, hors d'oeuvres and gift bag
- $1,200 "Table for 6" includes early entry to the party, one premium bottle, hors d'oeuvres and gift bag
- $2000 "Cabana for 10" includes early entry to the party, one super premium bottle, hors d'oeuvres and gift bag.
Tickets and VIP packages can be purchased at afanlv.org. Guests must be 21+ years old and are encouraged to wear as much black and white possible, or as little as they can get away with. For those who want to dive into the festivities, the pool will be open for swimming. All ticket holders receive complimentary entry to Light Nightclub at Mandalay Bay after 11:30 p.m. Piranha Nightclub will host the official LGBT after party beginning after 11:30 p.m. and continue the black & white theme.
