Music is in the air with concerts and performances galore. There is so much to do in Vegas over the next week. Plus put on your walking shoes for a great cause this Sunday at the 26th Annual AIDS Walk.

Complimentary admission for this spring concert features pianist Mykola Suk as Darryl One conducts the Henderson Symphony Orchestra.
 
National Poetry Month Celebration
Friday, April 15th 7:30-9:30 p.m.
West Las Vegas Library Theater
In honor of National Poetry Month, the West Las Vegas Arts Center presents a poetry super sampler, featuring some of the best in local talent from around the Las Vegas valley. This diverse group of poets will present their various works in a mini-feature format. Free and open to the public.

AIDS Walk Las Vegas
Sunday, April 17th 8 a.m.
Town Square
Penn & Teller will serve as grand marshals for the 15th consecutive year and leaders of the Penn & Teller Challenge, with exclusive fundraising incentives. Mercedes and JC from Mercedes in the Morning on Mix 94.1 will host the opening ceremony with appearances and performances from Las Vegas entertainers, artists, politicians and dignitaries. People of all ages are encouraged to participate and registration is free.
 
B.U.B.B.’s Downtown Dance Party
Wednesday, April 20th 5-9 p.m.
Container Park
The concert will feature rock, funk, soul, swing big band, afro-beat, basically a global world of music that also spans across many generations, all coming together in a dance party that people of all ages can dance to.
