It is festival season, and there are plenty of them to check out this weekend. Plus, cheer on some cute pooches this Sunday at the 13th Annual Best in Show!!
 
Family Festival
Saturday, April 9th 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Downtown Summerlin
Visit Downtown Summerlin for the family Festival on the Lawn. The family Festival is fun event for the whole family. There's tons of free s a.m.ples, prizes, giveaways, educational and informational vendors. Plus, plenty of kid’s activities, contests, sports progr a.m.s, live entertainment, museums and much more!
 
Henderson Libraries International Festival
Saturday, April 9th 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Paseo Verde Library
Enjoy a day of dance performances, food demonstrations, and costume displays during the month long celebration hosted by the Henderson Library District.
 
Pinwheels for Prevention
Saturday, April 9th 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Town Square
Pinwheels for Prevention is a national campaign during April, Child Abuse Prevention Month, aimed at supporting and celebrating the carefree childhood every kid deserves. This free event will feature a resource fair, free face painting, super heroes, and lots of activities for kids.
 
Vegas Veg Fest
Saturday, April 9th 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Clark County Government Center  a.m.phitheater
Check out the free inaugural event featuring nearly 20 plant-based food vendors, family friendly entertainment, cooking demos, and educational talks.

The Animal Foundation’s 13th Annual Best in Show
Sunday, April 10th, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. p.m.
Orleans Arena
This one-of-a-kind event features more than fifty unique and incredible shelter dogs competing for your applause in hopes of winning the title of Best in Show…and your heart. All dogs are available for adoption after the show! Join local celebrities and Las Vegas news personalities for Las Vegas’ favorite dog show and family-friendly event benefiting lost, unwanted and abandoned shelter pets. Tickets for this event range from $5-12 per person.
