A Tribute to the Arts Concert Series will present its annual Holiday Extravaganza concert at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 30 at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts.

More than 300 student musicians from nearly 40 schools in the Clark County School District will perform alongside teachers and professional from Southern Nevada.

In addition, visual artists from elementary, middle and high schools will have their work on display in The Smith Center’s Grand Lobby prior to the concert, as doors open at 5:30 p.m.

The concert series is a partnership among Clark County School District, The Public Education Foundation and The Smith Center.

Proceeds from concert ticket sales are used to support arts programs in public schools and the Artists 4 Kidz program, an initiative of The Public Education Foundation. Since this concert series began in 2012, more than 1,200 students have performed during these events at The Smith Center and more than 70 schools have raised nearly $150,000 for their arts programs through this partnership with the Foundation.

A limited number of tickets are still available, starting at $12. Contact The Public Education Foundation at (702) 799-1042 for more information about purchasing tickets.

The holiday concert is made possible through funding from Dennis and Carol Troesh; additional financial support is provided by Union Pacific, Nevada Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.
