LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The College of Southern Nevada says it will distribute free laptops to all full-time, first-time college students this week. Times and locations are listed below.

Current full-time CSN students who were enrolled in college for the first time in the fall 2020 semester have been notified that they are eligible. Those who graduate from a degree program within two years at CSN will be able to keep the laptops permanently, free of charge.

CSN is delivering approximately 85% of its classes online, with some science labs and career and technical education courses in-person. Because access to the internet is essential, these laptops are fitted with SIM cards that have enhanced bandwidth capabilities to allow users to work anywhere and at any time.

More information on the laptops and the program is available at csn.edu/firsttimefulltimelaptops.

Distribution begins on Jan. 27 and will continue through next week.
