Coats for Kids were distributed Saturday morning.
Meteorologist Greg Bennett was helping with the distribution at the Salvation Army near Cheyenne Avenue and Campus Drive where 1,000 kids were getting coats.
Coats were donated at Tropical Smoothie Cafe locations around the valley.
