To benefit HopeLink of Southern Nevada families devastated by the financial impact of COVID19, the award-winning theatre company A Public Fit, alongside author and director Gabriella Giocomo, will broadcast a pre-recorded cast reading of "Alvie: A Nouveau Cirque Play," created by author and director Gabriella Giocomo.

The 13-member volunteer cast features guest performers from Las Vegas stages, circus artists and some of the community’s finest actors in this online performance with a fun, new original script.

"Alvie" is a warm and humorous performance that follows the story coming-of-age of a girl who spent her childhood surrounded by the contemporary circus world. All scenes were recorded over Zoom and edited as one with the show's storyboard and stage directions. The performance also includes two featured acts by Cirque du Soleil artists.

The YouTube link to the free performance will be posted on HopeLink’s Facebook pageat 4 a.m. on Sept. 17 and will be available through Sept. 20 at midnight.
