Canadian man scales the Stratosphere in almost 7 minutes

Shaun Stephens-Wale ran up the steps of the Stratosphere Tower in 7 minutes and 3 seconds, taking first place in this year's Scale the Strat.

The 27-year-old from Roberts Creek, Canada also set a new course record. The fastest time was previously set in 2012 at 7 minutes and 5 seconds.

Scale the Strat is an annual run that benefits the American Lung Association in Nevada. The event raised $225,000 this year and featured over 800 climbers.
