Registration is open for Camp Broadway this July.
On Monday, July 18, the program will return to The Smith Center for the Performing Arts for a five-day program designed for theater-loving students seeking a Broadway experience.
Geared towards students ages 6-17, Camp Broadway will offer a curriculum including summer camps, workshops and performance opportunities taught by Broadway’s artists and performing arts partners.
Classic Camp, available for students ages 10 to 17, features five days of musical theater programming from July 25-29.
Shining Stars Camp, for students ages 6 to 9, features five half days of musical theater creative play from July 18-22, with the choice of morning or afternoon sessions available to participants.
Activities include acting technique workshops, exposure to the Broadway movement and music rehearsal process, performance opportunities led by Broadway veterans and more. Campers work together to create works of art that will be showcased in the Family Finale at the end of the program.
Camp Broadway is open to students of all skill levels, with no previous experience required for registration. Program prices at The Smith Center are set at $450 for Shining Stars and $695 for Classic Camp participants. Children are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis as space is limited.
