Caesars Entertainment broke ground Monday on a new conference center.

The Caesars Forum will be a 550,000-square-foot conference center located near The LINQ, Harrah's Las Vegas and Flamingo Las Vegas. It will have the two largest pillar-less ballrooms in the world, equivalent to three ice hockey rinks.
The company broke ground Monday on the conference center that will feature indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, including ballrooms and boardrooms.
It is scheduled to open in April 2020.
The project is expected to create 1,000 construction jobs.
