Visitors are spending more money when they visit Las Vegas.

According to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, total visitor spending is up $5 billion from 2015 to 2016, which averages out to more than $100 from every visitor each time they visit.

According to the LVCVA, there are two major factors -- more people are coming to Las Vegas and record-high attendance at large conventions. Last year LVCVA reported 42.9 million visitors to the city.
