HENDERSON (KTNV) — Henderson police and Special Olympics Nevada hosted a first-of-its-kind carnival at Touro University on Sunday.
Families enjoyed free snacks, face painting, balloon animals and carnival games.
The police department and first responders also took the time to learn more about working with differently-abled children and the children gained familiarity with uniformed officers and first responders.
