Vegas-area Boy Scouts donating $18K+ to local VA Hospital

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Las Vegas-area Boy Scouts of America will be donating over $18,800 of its popcorn sales this past year to the staff and patients at the VA Hospital in North Las Vegas.

This past fall local Scouts sold over $426,000 in popcorn. Over $46,000 was made in donations for the local Hometown Heroes Program.

Already $13,000 was donated to Serving Our Kids Foundation and $10,000 to Veteran’s Village.

The donation will be held on Jan. 21 at 9:30 a.m. at the local VA Hospital located on 6900 North Pecos Road in North Las Vegas.
