While the pandemic postponed the annual celebration of Historic Preservation Day in May, the Boulder City Historic Preservation Committee is taking a “can-do” approach to celebrate the past and advocate for the future by holding a Virtual Historic Preservation Month Celebration in October.
The public is invited to participate through virtual tours of four local properties that epitomize community dedication and determination for preserving and promoting Boulder City’s unique history.
This year’s Historic Preservation Award will also be presented virtually.
The list of properties will be shared on Oct. 1 and the tours will roll out throughout the months of October and November.

Boulder City became a certified local government in 2019 and is working in partnership with local, state and national governments to promote historic preservation efforts.
