LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Blind Connect, a nonprofit group is showing the Valley a new experience in the world of the blind.
Through painting, the group is teaching others that most blind people don't see darkness. In fact, they see some light, colors and shapes.
Through this class, organizers are giving the opportunity to artists who are blind, partially blind or not blind at all to paint using only their mind and heart.
If you are not blind, you are encouraged to wear a blindfold, so that all art is done equally and you can take a step into the world of the blind.
On Oct. 17, Blind connect will host a fundraising event. All proceeds will benefit Angela's House.
