Bank of America is working to can hunger in Southern Nevada and has announced a $46,155 donation to Three Square Food Bank.

The donation was raised through Bank of America’s Give A Meal campaign, a longstanding partnership with the bank and Feeding America, that raises awareness and funds to fight hunger September-December each year.

Bank of America Nevada President Al Welch and six Bank of America volunteers gathered at the food bank to unveil the total raised to Three Square and its President and CEO Brian Burton (see attached photo). The donation equates to 138,465 meals, which can provide food to 126 people for an entire year.

As part of the Give A Meal campaign, for every $1 donated through the end of last year, the Bank of America Charitable Foundation gave $2 more.

Bank of America is focused on building thriving economies which is why it’s philanthropic investments support the one in six Americans struggling with hunger, including approximately 305,000 individuals in Southern Nevada.
