Bank of America Las Vegas president Al Welch hand-delivered 15 grants totaling $192,000 to Southern Nevada nonprofits.
They provide workforce development and educational opportunities to help local residents succeed in today’s evolving workforce.
Nonprofits receiving the grants included: Communities in Schools of Nevada, Southern Nevada Public Television, Foundation for an Independent Tomorrow, Discovery Children’s Museum and Teach for America, among others. Full details on the recipients are available in the attached release.
The grants are part of Bank of America’s broader strategy to build a thriving economy in Las Vegas as well advance better money habits in the community.
