LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Family members of prisoners near the Las Vegas valley released balloons on Christmas Eve near several prisons.
Hundreds of colorful balloons were released. Family members say they haven't been able to visit their loved ones during the pandemic and it has been difficult.
The balloon release was approved by the prison department.
