Aquarius Casino Resort in Laughlin teamed up with its guests and card members for the Feed A Family program this year.

The program was able to provide delicious meals to 1,140 local families of four or 4,560 individuals during this holiday season.

For every 12,000 ace | PLAY points contributed, Aquarius provided a box filled with holiday meal classics to a local food bank or pantry. The donated boxes, which were individually packed by Aquarius volunteers, fed a family of four and included items such as a 12-pound turkey for Thanksgiving, an 8-pound ham for Christmas, stuffing, gravy, potatoes, veggies, cranberries, whipped cream and a pie.

“Helping out others in need is what the holidays are all about,” said Sean Hammond, Aquarius Casino Resort General Manager. “We’re overjoyed that Aquarius’ ‘Feed A Family’ program had another highly-successful year and we can do our part in spreading holiday cheer to families in our community who need it most.”

The Thanksgiving and Christmas meals were donated to Kingman Food Bank in Kingman, AZ; Golden Valley Food Bank in Golden Valley, AZ; Food for Families in Bullhead City, AZ; Colorado River Food Bank in Laughlin, NV; Cornerstone Mission Project in Kingman, AZ; The Women’s Club in Needles, CA; Interagency Council Community Food Bank in Lake Havasu City, AZ; and Caring Hearts in Bullhead City, AZ.
