Project 150 is partnering with Zappos.com to make prom dreams come true for homeless and disadvantaged teens in Southern Nevada with their annual Prom Closet event on March 16.

The heartwarming event offers local high school students the opportunity to shop for fashionable prom outfits for free with a student ID card. Teens can choose from a professionally presented selection of thousands of gently used dresses, tuxes, suits, shoes and accessories. A personal shopper will help students select the perfect outfit. Services are also provided to help students with their hair and beauty needs. Experts will even be on hand to offer dance lessons.

This year's prom closet will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Zappos Plaza at 400 Stewart Ave. in Downtown Las Vegas. Each student with a valid school ID card can bring one guest to the event.
