LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Animal Foundation is waiving its adoption fees on certain pets ahead of the NFL's Big Game on Sunday.
The "Big Game TAILgate" dog and cat adoption promotion will run from Feb. 4-7, according to the foundation.
Adoption fees will be waived for adult dogs weighing 30 pounds or more and for all adult cats.
The promotion applies to animals six months and older and the fee‐waived covers spay/neuter surgery, microchip and up‐to‐date vaccines.
A $10 license fee may also apply and the foundation says adoptions are by appointment only and must be scheduled to meet a specific animal.
