41,000 pounds of dog food were donated Monday to help agencies in the Las Vegas valley.
The donation event was held at City Impact Center. Flamingo hotel-casino headliner and "America’s Got Talent" finalist Piff the Magic Dragon and his dog, Mr. Piffles, stopped by the event.
The food secured by the Gallagher Group was immediately picked up by organizations including The Shade Tree/Noah’s Animal Shelter, PAL Humane Society, Street Dogz, Wagging Tails Rescue, Animal Network, Heaven Can Wait, Labrador Rescue, Beagle Rescue and Mutts of Southern Nevada. The remaining food will be stored and shared with other agencies in the community.
