Beer Park in Paris Las Vegas will host an opening ceremony viewing party. Throughout the celebration, complimentary Budweiser Signature drafts will be given to guests wearing their favorite country’s apparel.
 
The Tank at Golden Nugget is celebrating the opening of the Summer Olympics with poolside drink specials and giveaways.
 
SUMMER BEACH BASH -- AUGUST 13
Swim, dance, play games and win prizes at an Olympics-themed party at the Silver Mesa Recreation Center. The event will be held on August 13 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. 
 
Viewing parties will be held throughout the Rio Olympics at Red Rock Resort’s race and sports book bar, Boulder Station’s Kixx Bar, at Texas Station in South Padre, Gaudi Bar at Sunset Station, and Jack’s inside Palace Station. The Budweiser Patrol team will give away free beer every time the U.S. wins a Gold medal. Also, guests who try every international cocktail will have a chance to win free beer for a year.
 
SPECIALS
 
Aliante is offering a Gold Medal Mule in the Race & Sports Book during the summer games priced at $5. The patriotic cocktails are made with Azzurre vodka, Goldschlager Cinnamon Schnapps, lime juice and Crabbie’s Ginger Beer.
 
From August 5 through August 21, The summer games will be shown on more than 20 high-definition TVs located throughout the lower-level cantina area, where guests can enjoy signature entrée menu and drink items. Guests can also enjoy Cabo Wabo’s new Half-Off Happy Hour, offered daily from 3 to 6 p.m. which includes half-off all appetizers, house margaritas, sangria, draft beer and shots of Cabo Wabo tequila. 
 
CRUSH inside MGM Grand Hotel will offer a special burger and beer pairing while airing the games on its high-definition televisions. The restaurant will serve its signature half-pound Angus burger topped with Applewood bacon and Vermont cheddar, paired with a locally-brewed Tenaya Creek Bonanza Brown Ale, priced at $24.
 
La Cave inside Wynn Las Vegas will offer the “Red, White and Bleu” sangria and charcuterie special, priced at $36. The special will include decadent, thinly-sliced prosciutto di Parma, robust soppressata, Landana aged gouda, and Truffle Tremor cheese. The spread will be paired with two glasses of La Cave’s signature house-made sangria, including one red and one white.
 
The Rio Summer menu will feature various international-inspired favorites such as the Bauru Sandwich (made with French bread, roast beef, tomato, cucumber, melted mozzarella and French fries); Green Chili Chicken or Pork Tostada (served with refried black beans, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, avocado and cilantro lime crème fraiche); and Feijoada (made with beef, pork, and black bean stew with steamed rice). Three specialty drinks have also been crafted for the games, including the Roasted Jalapeno Margarita (CAZADORES, agave nectar, fresh lime juice, roasted jalapeno), Leblon Caipirinha (LEBLON Cachaca, fresh lime, simple syrup) and Leblon Breeze (LEBLON Cachaca, pineapple juice, cranberry juice, and an orange wheel garnish).
 
Pancho's will pay tribute to the games with the Gold Medal Margarita, made with Sauza Conmemorativo tequila mixed with fresh lime juice, sweet and sour and triple sec, garnished with a salt rim and priced at $10.75. Pancho’s will show the summer games on high-definition televisions spread throughout the cantina.
