13 Things To Do This Week In Las Vegas For May 17-23

Here is a list of 13 things to do in the Las Vegas valley for the week of May 17 through 23:

1. Join park staff on a ranger-led hike to the heights of Sandstone Canyon at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park on Friday. Hike is appropriate for ages 7 and up. Dogs on leashes welcome. Hike begins at 6:30 p.m.

2. GRAMMY-nominated DJ and producer Steve Aoki will be signing copies of his "Neon Future" comic books at Torpedo Comics from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Friday. Co-creator Tom Bilyeau will also be there.

3. Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox is in town this weekend at 1OAK Nightclub at The Mirage. The unique, interactive show transports guest through time, turning the showroom into what feels like a roaring speakeasy from the 1920s.

4. Lucky locals can get into Cowabunga Bay for just $7.77 between 5 and 9 p.m. Friday night. Cowabunga Bay is also celebrating Armed Forces Day on Saturday. $2 of every ticket sold May 18 will be donated to the Folded Flag Foundation.

5. Free showing of the movie "Underdogs" at Seastrand Park on Friday. Free admission. Food and drinks available for purchase. Family activities begin at 6 p.m.

6. Catch "An Intimate Evening with Santana: Greatest Hits" at the House of Blues inside Mandalay Bay Friday through Sunday, May 22 and May 24-25.

7. Springs Preserve's annual Ice Cream Festival is happening Saturday. Stations will serve ice cream sundaes, novelties and floats and there will be live entertainment, face painting, games and more.

8. A Polish Festival is happening Saturday at Our Lady of Las Vegas Parish. Polish food, desserts, beer and wine, folk dancing, polka band, raffles, prizes and more.

9. Chateau Nightclub & Rooftop is hosting Drag Show Day Club parties on May 18 and 25 from noon to 4 p.m. The queens will light up Chateau’s dance floor with a variety of acts inspired by popular female celebrities, including Cher, Lady Gaga Cardi B, Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Tina Turner, Whitney Houston and more.

10. Fergusons Downtown is hosting an immersive art and entertainment experience named The Creatives on Saturday. There will be professional models and photo backdrops, musical artists, dancers, props, wardrobe/fashion designers, makeup artists, educational sessions and cocktails.

11. Tule Springs at Floyd Lamb Park is hosting a strawberry festival on Sunday. Strawberry-themed food, a bounce house, rock-climbing wall, games and live entertainment.

12. Hofbrauhaus is hosting the Ultimate Game of Thrones Finale Party on Snday. There will be beer, music, games, photo ops, food, GOT-inspired cocktails and the finale on their extra-large TVs.

13. There's a new comedy club in downtown Las Vegas. Tickle Me Comedy Club offers a 360-degree entertainment experience, including food and cocktails. Comedians performing this week include Jeffrey Peterson, Nikki Carr, Evan Green and Rick D'Elia.
