13 Things To Do In Las Vegas For Jan. 1-7

Here is a list of 13 things to do in Las Vegas for the week of Jan. 1-7:

1. Head to Backstage Bar & Billiards on East Fremont Street on Jan. 1 for the Burrito Run. There will be a food truck serving burritos, a Hellkat Racers car show, drink specials and music by Henchmen, The Delta Bombers and Dante's Inferno band. Party starts at 6 p.m. 

2. Tennessee native and comedian Ralphie May is in Las Vegas for one night only at Treasure Island on Jan. 2. The "unruly" comic is known for his tell-it-how-it-is brand of comedy and has made 6 comedy albums.

3. If you didn't make it to the Fremont Street Experience on New Year's Ever for TributePalooza, you can still catch one of the best tribute bands in the country performing on Jan. 1 and 2. Fan Halen will be performing on the Main Street Stage.

4. Morrissey is one of the most important British lyricists and singers of the last few generations. He rose to fame as a member of The Smiths. He will perform Jan. 2 in The Joint at the Hard Rock.

5. The pop-rock quintet R5 will wrap up the New Year's festivities with a performance on Jan. 1 at The Venetian. The 5 member group is best known for hits including "Loud," "Let's Not Be Alone Tonight" and "All Night." They will be joined by Ryland.

6. Singer Michael Buble, who has been called "one of the most likable performers on Earth," will stop in Vegas on Jan. 1 to perform his new #1 selling release, "To Be Loved." Buble will perform inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

7. Comedian Mike Epps began climbing the comedy ranks in 2000. Epps is also an actor and has appeared in several television shows and movies. The Mike Epps After Dark Live Nation Tour will visit 40 cities on three continents. He will perform Jan. 1 and 2 at The Orleans.

8. The American country music band Restless Heart performs Jan. 2 at the Silverton. The band has had more than 25 singles on the charts and 4 gold albums. Hits include "I'll Still Be Loving You," "Fast Movin' Train" and "When She Cries."

9. The Bunkhouse Saloon in downtown Las Vegas will host a Morrissey after party featuring Maladjusted on Jan. 2. Maladjusted is known for its authentic and impressive tribute to Morrissey. Close to Modern will also perform. 

10. Holiday Hangover, presented by St. Jude's Ranch for Children and iHeart Radio, will feature a performance by Elvis Monroe. Holiday Hangover will take place Jan 2 inside the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay.

11. Disney on Ice's "Frozen" opens Jan. 6 at the Thomas & Mack Center. The royal sisters Anna and Elsa, along with snowman Olaf, Kristoff and the loyal reindeer Sven will enchant audiences with special effects and wondrous skating.

12. The Sunday Jazz Series at The Sayers Club inside SLS Las Vegas will feature Vince Preister on Jan 3. Presented by Marshall Entertainment.

13. Five-time Grammy Award-winning artist Beck performs Jan. 7 at the Brooklyn Bowl. Beck began his rise to fame with his single "Loser," which became a worldwide hit in 1994. Beck's 2014 album "Morning Phrase" won Album of the Year at the 57th Grammy Awards.
