13 Things To Do This Week In Las Vegas For Dec. 13-19

Here is a list of 13 things happening around the Las Vegas valley this week:

1. Sahara West Library is hosting a holiday book sale Dec. 13 and 14. Visitors have the opportunity to stock up on books, movies, music, and those unexpected treasures and high-end items you might find in the stacks, with many items as low as 50 cents. There are cookbooks, textbooks, autobiographies, self-help books, diet books, nonfiction, books for teens, music and more.

2. Multiple tattoo shops around the Las Vegas valley will be offering specials for Friday the 13th. Most shops will be offering $20 tattoos or other deals. Tattoo shops include Crown Electric, Last Chance Tattoo and Rock N Roll Tattoo.

3. Merry Krampsmas is happening Dec. 13 at the Thunderbird Saloon. Entertainment by DJ hallows and Ringofire and live performances by Monster Doll, Saint Anique and Neon. Drink specials from 8 to 10 p.m.

4. Fergusons Downtown is having a grand opening celebration Dec. 13-15. There will be a ribbon cutting on Dec. 13, followed by a jam session on main stage. Multiple vendors will take over The Yard on Dec. 14 and there will also be a fashion show, live painting, live music and a special Spiegelworld activation. Start the day with Creative Mornings and Silent Savasana on Dec. 15. Market in the Alley is also happening across the street on Dec. 15.

5. The Starboard Tack is hosting the Punk Rock X-Mas Toy Drive on Dec. 13. bring a toy worth at least $10 and your will receive a free drink. Santa "Jason Voorhees" Claus will also be there.

6. Cadence is celebrating its 5th anniversary with a party at Cadence Central Park on East Sunset Road on Dec. 14. There will be food trucks, a doggie zone, selfie stations, a mountain climbing wall, a zip line, a DJ, and Gold Min Tavern's beer garden. Free admission.

7. Big Dog's Brewing Company is hosting a Christmas party on Dec. 14. There will be food and beer specials, music, dancing, ugly sweater contest, egg nog and spiked punch.

8. Kiefer Sutherland with special guest Max Gomez performs Dec. 14 in the Rocks Lounge at Red Rock Resort. Sutherland released his debut album titled "Down In A Hole" in 2016. He also covers songs by Merle Haggard and Tom Petty during his shows.

9. Rock 4 The Kids, hosted by Sugar Ray's Mark McGrath, is happening on Dec. 14 at Brooklyn Bowl. Other guests include Rydmik Healing, The Dose, Franks & Deans and Will Champlin. There will also be an art show featuring unique artwork on several guitars. The event benefits Cure 4 The Kids Foundation.

10. Ariana Grande is bringing The Sweetener World Tour to the MGM Grand Arena on Dec. 15. Earlier this year, Grande won her first GRAMMY® Award for “Best Pop Vocal Album” for Sweetener, and was nominated for five additional GRAMMY® Awards in 2019.

11. Spend Christmas with the Clydesdales on Dec. 19 at the South Point Arena. The horses will be available for photos and there will be free hot chocolate and Budweiser beer. Santa Claus will also be in attendance.

12. Able Baker Brewing on Main Street is throwing an '80s party to celebrate the holidays on Dec. 18. There will be drink specials, a special release beer, giveaways and crowlers. DJ Velvet Rebel will provide the entertainment.

13. Tropicana Las Vegas and the Mia St. John Foundation will hosting a special concert on Dec. 19 featuring Las Vegas vocalist Angela Teek, special guest Tony Orlando and a 16-piece orchestra. The concert is free and open to the public.

This event is free and open to the public.
