LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Stage Door Casino has been a staple in the Las Vegas community for 40 years.
The iconic, hybrid 24-hour convenience grocery store and bar was planning for their biggest party yet for the NFL Draft.
But the COVID-19 pandemic crashed the party and ruined it.
Now John Vizcarra, the director of Operations is leaning on the operations from the store to cover the loss of the 3-day event.
"It's just sad for us to not have it and not have that opportunity to host it's heartbreaking," Vizcarra said.
Despite challenges, Vizcarra and the staff at Stage Door Casino are staying optimistic about staying open.
