A driver went speeding into a river in Maine recently after suffering a medical episode.

61-year-old Charles Stratton's truck struck a signpost, kept going through the parking lot at Ellsworth's public boat lunch, hit a tree and another sign and finally went off some boulders that made the truck flip into the river, according to the Bangor Daily News.

Stratton was able to open his door and get his head out of the water before Good Samaritans helped get him out of the vehicle, the Bangor Daily News reported.

Stratton only had minor injuries from the incident.
