The Tony Awards went on Sunday night despite the attacks in Orlando.
Members of the NYPD Counterterrorism Task Force stood guard on the red carpet in New York City.
"Your tragedy is our tragedy. Theater is a place where every race, creed, sexuality, and gender is equal, embraced, and loved," said host James Corden.
There were also tributes to the victims throughout the show, with several stars such as Barbra Streisand paying their respects.
