Starbucks is introducing the Juniper Latte today. The drink has a hint of juniper and sage with an evergreen aroma and citrus notes.
A juniper is an evergreen shrub or small tree that has berrylike cones. It can be found throughout Eurasia and North America.
Juniper is also the main flavor in gin.
The drink is made with espresso, steamed milk, juniper syrup and topped with foam and pine-citrus sugar.
Although the drink was first introduced last year in Seattle, this is the first time it will be available in U.S. stores. It will be offered for a limited time while supplies last.
