Pope Francis got up close and personal with a tiger on Thursday.
According to the New York Post, a traveling animal show stopped by the Vatican for a visit.
Hundreds of onlookers gathered in the Paul VI audience hall to watch the pope's encounter with the tiger and other animals.
The pope thanked the traveling show for doing shows for "the poor and the homeless, prisoners, and disadvantaged kids."
