A 13-year-old with a brain tumor got to visit a galaxy far, far away, at least for a day.

Cole Delisle has undergone two surgeries and chemotherapy but Saturday, friends, family and a police escort greeted the teen in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Cole was then taken into a room at the Masonic Lodge where people were dressed in "Star Wars" uniforms and then taken behind the curtain to get in his own uniform, WMUR in Manchester reported.

"It's really been hard to make it through all of this, but I have all my friends through the school year who have helped me and all these people that have come here," he said.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation stepped in to help Cole feel like a normal kid.

"It was put together over a matter of I guess a month or so, they had to be built, it was hand-painted and so Cole knows that he is getting this uniform, but he doesn't know to the extent," said Donna Parker with Make-A-Wish.

The Portsmouth mayor also declared Aug. 6 Cole Day.

"It's really kind of them and it just made my day better, so it's really nice that they did this for me," Cole said.

The teen is scheduled to have his final radiation treatments this week.
