If this isn't a sign that you should never give up even when it's tough, then we don't know what is.
The New York Jets have signed wide receiver Joe Anderson to their practice squad after he posted a photo online asking NFL teams for work.
The team posted this tweet on Tuesday.

Nearly 6 weeks ago, Anderson posted a photo of himself standing outside the Texans’ stadium with a sign reading: “Not homeless...but starving for success. Will run routes 4 food.”
According to ESPN, 27-year-old Anderson was signed by the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of Texas Southern in 2012 and played in nine games, mostly on special teams, for parts of two seasons.
His 2013 season ended with an abdominal and groin injury that landed him on injured reserve, and he was later waived.
He was with Philadelphia in the 2014 offseason and spent time in the Canadian Football League but had been out of a job in football this season.
Since then, Anderson has been working out and staying in tip-top shape and dreaming about the day that he would get a chance to play again. He has documented his journey through social media.
