Have you ever used the excuse of not having cash on you when approached by someone who is homeless?

If you are ever in the city of Detroit and run across a man named Abe Hagenston, that excuse is not going to work.

That is because Hagenston has made being homeless his business and that means he can accept donations via the Square app on his cell phone and he has a website on which he offers to do odd jobs.

According to WDIV ClickOnDetroit, the 42-year-old man has been homeless for 10 years.

Hagenston's nickname is "Honest Abe," according to CBS Detroit.
