A group of California surf instructors gave a lesson recently to a special group of students.
Students from the Braille Institute of Los Angeles came out to Manhattan Beach to experience the ocean from the first time Tuesday.
While they're still on the beach, the instructors first let them feel the board and demonstrate what to do. After that, they hit the waves.
The Braille Institute has been bringing students out to surf for more than six years for a complimentary lesson.
