Wynn Resorts has reportedly bought the former site for the Alon project.
The Alon was never built and a source told Vital Vegas that Wynn Resorts plans to build a hotel-casino on the Strip with lots of retail shops.
The Alon project was scrapped last year due to lack of funding.
